Dr. Patricia Di Ciano

Patricia Di Ciano is a member of the Driving Simulator Lab (DSL) within IMPHR. Comprised of 4 IMHPR Scientists, the DSL is committed to understanding the impact of cannabis on driving.

Dr. Di Ciano has a number of projects completed or ongoing:

  • Safety of vaped cannabis: Pharmacokinetic differences between cannabis smoking and liquid vaping Examining the effects of cannabis on cognition and driving and blood THC levels

  • Examining the impact of legalization of cannabis for non-medical purposes on products available to the consumer

  • Combined and separate effects of cannabis and tobacco: Psychomotor, cognitive, subjective and physiological outcomes (CASE-CT)

  • Dose-dependent effects of cannabis on simulated driving in adults over 65 years of age
